At TLP we love watching people and organisations develop, especially when we know we have been instrumental in that development. In this respect we are just like proud parents watching their kids take on new knowledge and skills or enhance existing knowledge and skills.

NEVER DELIVER THE SAME PROGRAMME TWICE – HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO

At TLP we are proud of the fact that we never deliver the same training programme twice. Our programmes are all bespoke to our client’s needs and are designed around our 4 key principles.

  1. DEFINE– we will help to define your organisational needs and design programmes that are completely tailored to these.
  2. DESIGN– every programme we design from 1-day stand-alone workshops, to 18-month leadership programmes are designed with your bespoke needs in mind.
  3. DELIVER– we deliver all of our workshops in a way that is extremely informative, interactive and fun! We are big believers in having fun! We know that people learn more when they are enjoying themselves. (think back to your college or school days. You will remember the lessons where you had the most fun. Try it!).
  4. DEVELOP– we don’t just stop once the programme is over. We continue to work with your people and organisation to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence long after the programme is complete. As we continue to work with you and become a partner of choice, we will get to know you better that you know yourselves and we will anticipate your development needs often long before you do, which will lead us back to point 1., DEFINE.

WHAT ELSE? – ACCREDITATION

TLP is accredited by both the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) organisation and the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). So not only can we provide accredited programmes for your people, but you can rest assured about the quality of the training and coaching we provide. Both the CPD and ILM have rigorous approval processes and standards that must be met in order to become accredited by them.

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK – RETURN ON YOUR INVESTMENT

Investing in training and development is essential and we understand that you will want to know how your investment is translating into results. At TLP we use a minimum 4-step evaluation process that will allow you to assess your return on investment both quantitively and qualitatively.

  • Transferred Learning Point (TLP) 1.

Prior to any training event we will create a baseline assessment which can be used to assess levels of knowledge, competence and confidence for all participants undertaking the training. This can be self-assessed and peer assessed.

  • Transferred Learning Point (TLP) 2.

Participants will complete an evaluation at the end of the training programme, reflecting on the same assessment points used in TLP 1. (This is self-assessed only).

  • Transferred Learning Point (TLP) 3.

2 weeks after the training has taken place, participants will complete an evaluation to assess how the training has impacted their knowledge, competence and confidence in the intervening 2-week period. This can be self-assessed and peer assessed.

  • Transferred Learning Point (TLP) 4.

1 month after the training has taken place participants will complete an evaluation to assess how the training has impacted their knowledge, competence and confidence in the intervening 1-month period. This can be self-assessed and peer assessed.

Further TLP points can be added if required. Results of the evaluation will be collected and collated by TLP for internal evaluation by key stakeholders as required.
